ST FRANCIS XAVIER'S HIGH SCHOOL & HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL

St. Francis Xavier's High School was established in June 1937, Founder of the High School was Mr. Miguel Antonio de Souza. Higher Secondary School was established in June 1988, by Fr. V. D. Joseph, M.S.F.S.

St Francis Xavier's school is completing 63 years of its existence. It has a rich legacy of excellence in the field of quality education. From its humble beginnings the school has grow to its present stature of the institution it is today, catering to about 1700 students, it has surely come a long way. The school has transformed the village of Siolim and stands as a pride of every Siolcar.

In the year 1988 the school started the Higher Secondary Section with three streams of Arts, Science and Commerce. The Higher Secondary Section was started by Fr. Joseph Pottemmel an eminent educationalist who was also the Principal of the school for 10 years. It was Fr. Pottemmel assisted by Fr. Reginald D'Souza along with the Staff and P.T.A. who is responsible for the phenomenal growth of the school and for providing the school with a spacios and majestic building.

ST ANTHONY'S HIGH SCHOOL

Established in June 1909 by Fr. Hipolito De Luna, the school's motto is 'towards higher achievements through hardwork', the school is often referred to as 'a home away from home'. To this day over 11,000 youngsters have passed through the portals of St. Anthony's and are spread not only in Goa, but throughout the country.
